There were a dozen walkers who show up on Saturday 18th, to have fellowship and walk the ‘Bush Walk’ together. The day was nice and crisp, not too cold, and the 6.2 mile journey was very informative and interesting. Alex is so knowledgeable about this AVA walk, and gave us so much historical data on the two Bush homes. We ended up at the address of 1412 West Ohio Avenue, the George W. Bush Childhood Home & Museum.
Those who were able to show up and enjoy the walk were: Merle R., Carol S., Cristal F., Ike and Cathey G., Susan and Kenneth F., Dorise W., Gary and Carolyn P, Alex R., and Criss K.
After finishing back at Windlands Park, a group finished up the walk by grabbing some well-deserved breakfast and holding a Midland Walkabout Meeting. The minutes will be emailed to members, and are posted here… so you can read what was discussed and what events are being planned for the upcoming weeks and months!

Great weather, great fellowship and great walking even though I only made it half way through. Great job from everyone.
